The maps of this document try to bring together the technocomplexes of an area most important to the Prehistory of Central Europe, the 'Area north of the Alps'. The bibliographic references should give the student some kind of short-cut to the vast body of literature. Since generating these maps, however, turned out to be a research work of its own, the document may be of interest also to specialists.
